In memory of Anne Rafferty 1949 - 2021
On 21 March 2021 Anne passed away after her battle with MSA (multiple system atrophy), a rare and incurable neurodegenerative disorder. In her memory, we are fundraising for the MSA Trust, a charity dedicated to supporting those affected with MSA and their families, and whose mission is to find the cause and cure for MSA.
Anne was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend and she will be forever missed. We kindly request donations in her name to help the MSA Trust in its work towards preventing more people from the suffering caused by this cruel and heartbreaking disease.

Thoughts
MSA took a lot from my mother in her final years, but it could not diminish her kind heartedness, her generosity of spirit, or her compassion for others; she retained her positive outlook and continued to be a loved and much valued source of friendship and support to all who knew her. The news that she passed away peacefully in her sleep on 21st March 2021 came as a huge shock, but I take great solace in knowing that so many others have fond and cherished memories of her, and while she may no longer be with us, the legacy that she left is a testament to her. I truly could not have wished for a better mother; I will always miss her, and I will always treasure my memories of her, and value the unconditional love and selfless support she gave me.
